Campus Scene ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Campus Scene website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). We act as the service provider for participating campuses, student clubs, and organizers using the platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least the minimum age required by your campus policies, and that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

3. Accounts and eligibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating your account and when registering for events.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or suspected breach.

4. Use of the Service

Campus Scene is designed to help students, organizers, and campuses discover, manage, and attend events and communities. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with campus policies.

• Do not use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Do not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code except where permitted by law.
• Do not upload content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.

5. Organizer and campus responsibilities

If you use Campus Scene as an event organizer, club, or campus administrator, you agree to:

• Create accurate, clear, and non-misleading event listings.
• Comply with applicable laws, campus rules, and safety requirements for events.
• Handle attendee data responsibly and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and campus policies.
• Not misuse messaging or notification tools, including for spam or unrelated solicitation.

6. Content and intellectual property

• You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service but grant us a limited license to host, display, and distribute that content solely for operating and improving the platform.
• Campus Scene, including its design, branding, and underlying technology, is protected by intellectual property laws and may not be copied or reused without permission.

7. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with third-party tools (such as payment processors, analytics providers, or campus systems). Your use of those services may be subject to additional terms and privacy policies provided by the relevant third parties.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may update or modify the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Campus Scene is headquartered, unless a different governing law is required by your campus or local regulations.
